Polystream will once again be at the show as part of the Ukie UK industry stand where the team will be meeting partners, sharing updates with press, and eating as much Haxen as we can in one week.

Game Developers Conference

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world's largest professional game industry event.

GDC attracts over 27,000 attendees, and is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games and virtual reality gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry. GDC is produced by the UBM Game Network.

This market defining conference features over 500 lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions on a comprehensive selection of game development and VR topics taught by leading industry experts. In addition, the GDC expo showcases all of the most relevant development tools, platforms and services helping to drive the industry forward. The conference also features the annual Independent Games Festival, the longest-running and largest festival relating to independent games worldwide, where original games compete for the attention of the publishing community, and the annual Game Developers Choice Awards, the premier accolades for peer-recognition in the digital games industry.

Festivities, fun and frolicking to be had at the Games Industry Christmas Party to kick-start the holiday season… Come along and join industry friends and colleagues for a festive-themed evening from 7.30pm - 2am!
 
The party is open to anyone in the games business, from retailers through to developers, media through to distributors, and service companies through to publishers.
 
Tickets are £10 each and this includes entrance, free food and alcohol (available for a limited time only). 
 
All ticket proceeds go to GamesAid charity.

The two-day event takes place every fall in wintery Scandinavia amidst one of the most dynamic tech ecosystems on the planet. In 2016 Slush takes place on November 30 – December 1st in Helsinki, Finland.
