There’s a new face at Polystream HQ this month! Marek comes to Polystream from Sky Ventures (London, San Francisco & NY) where he previously made investments in, and ran partnerships with, startups like Roku, DataXu, Fubo.TV, Circle, Drone Racing League, and Pluto.TV as well as leading the Commercial Development team – managing the strategic relationships with Microsoft, Apple, and Google.
Polystream’s CEO Bruce Grove welcomed our new Chief Commercial Officer saying, “This year has been one of huge growth for us as we have transformed a small team and a great idea into a talented team of 18 that are defining the future of streaming interactive games and applications, working with new partners including Wargaming and Bohemia Interactive Simulations.
We are now delighted to have Marek come aboard at such an important phase in Polystream’s development. Marek will be focussing on building out the teams for developing new business, originating deals, creating long-term partnerships, and helping us prepare for a Series A investment round later in the year. Marek’s strong understanding of how a disruptive technology like Polystream can be a bridge between innovation and real-world commercial use will help us rewrite all previous assumptions about streaming. I’m truly excited to be working with him as we look towards rapid expansion and fully entering the market.”
Marek added, “I’m super-excited to have joined Polystream – having spent a great deal of my career working to commercialise exciting new technology I was blown away by what the team are doing. Polystream is ground-breaking deep tech and I relished the opportunity to be there in the early stages as we reshape the way multiple industries and sectors do business.”
